This program provides transportation assistance to and from hospitals, medical appointments and treatments with gasoline assistance, ride shares, auto repair and auto donations.
When a child is diagnosed with a critical illness, often one parent must leave their employment to care for the child. With many families facing a loss of half their income, there is quickly increased financial stress for families and an overwhelming worry of how they will get their child to and from treatments and appointments. Parents are often traveling several days each week to and from the hospital. By providing gas assistance, bus passes, Uber/Lyft rides, auto repairs and auto donations, There With Care can ensure that parents are able to get their children to crucial medical appointments and to visit their children when they remain in-patient at the hospital.
