Stacia Wells

Board Chairperson

Stacia Wells earned a BS in English Literature and a minor in Archaeology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She began her career in advertising before expanding to brand marketing and product development for companies such as Disney, Ore-Ida Foods, Patagonia, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. For four years, she served as marketing and communications director at Environment Now, an environmental foundation, where she trained many non-profit leaders and their boards of directors in strategic planning and communication. Stacia currently sits on Stanford’s Archaeology Council. The Council actively works to connect students and scholars at Stanford’s Archaeology Center. Stacia has four children, three of whom spent significant time in NICUs after birth. She learned first hand the stress and struggle of dealing with everyday tasks amidst a family crisis. Being able to work with There With Care in the Bay Area and help to fulfill its mission is an honor and a privilege for Stacia.
