Sandra Cheung

Board Director

Sandra is a Bay Area native who spent her childhood in Los Altos. She attended U.C Berkeley where she earned a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. While at Berkeley, she tutored and mentored at-risk youth in the Berkeley public school system. After graduating, she worked in drug discovery doing laboratory research and bioinformatics at pharmaceutical companies.

Sandra had a close family member go through a medical crisis with extended stays in local hospitals. After experiencing the isolation, helplessness and trauma, Sandra is passionate about working to provide thoughtful services to families in the hopes of alleviating their hardship. Sandra and her husband Harry live in Atherton and have three young children.
