Kathy became the Executive Director for There With Care of the Bay Area in November of 2022. She has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 30 years and has lived in the Bay Area for the past 15 years. Throughout her professional career, she has had the privilege to work in philanthropy for healthcare and community-based organizations in the Bay Area, New York City, Colorado, and Arizona, as well as on behalf of international development organizations globally. Previously, she held leadership positions in philanthropy with Sutter Health, a California-based healthcare organization, for more than nine years, both at a regional level, and at an affiliate level with Mills-Peninsula Hospital Foundation. She received her Master's in Public Administration with an emphasis in Nonprofit Organizational Management from the University of Colorado at Denver, and a BFA from the University of Arizona. Drawn to the compassionate and entrepreneurial mission of There With Care, Kathy is excited to partner with Bay Area children's hospitals, donors, volunteers, and community leaders to make a meaningful impact on the lives of families and their children during the critical phase of a medical crisis. We're so thankful to have her leading this team.
