Gonzalo Ruiz

Gonzalo Ruiz, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and raised in Puebla, Mexico, moved with his family to the Bay Area 6 years ago. He earned his Juris Doctor Degree from the Universidad de las Americas, Puebla and his LL.M in Common Law Studies from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. With an accomplished career that expands over 20 years in multiple jurisdictions working in the Americas, Asia, and Europe, he has gained outstanding cultural awareness and has coached, developed, and mentored cross-functional teams. Passionate about social responsibility, he actively participates in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging initiatives. He is a Senior Fellow Graduate of the Latino Board Leadership Academy, Class XVII of the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley. Gonzalo, his wife and three boys live in San Mateo.  The family has been involved with There with Care for the past 5 years and one of the reasons he is so honored to support its mission.
