About Us

Founded in Colorado in 2005, There With Care’s mission is to provide a wide range of meaningful and fundamental services for families and children during the critical phase of a medical crisis. We serve families referred by hospital social workers and build support around them through a community of individuals, volunteers, services, and businesses, who ease their burden of life’s day-to-day obligations with compassion and care. Our current service locations are Colorado and the Bay Area of California.

The Important Work You’ll Do

Community Events

• Manage ten (10) Community Events and (2) Donor Cultivation Events annually.
• Create a Community Event strategy to meet revenue goals and engage participants as donors or volunteers, which includes a rubric for vetting and organizing these events.
• Develop and execute a stewardship plan for post-event follow-up.
• Manage Volunteer Ambassador program with Volunteer Manager. Develop an Ambassador Toolkit to provide structure for Ambassadors to run donor engagement events.

Signature Events

• Support Sr. Director of Development in stewarding event attendees.

Event Communications and Reporting

• Work with the marketing team to create a communications calendar for ticket sales and event promotion.
• Provide revenue and engagement reporting to Senior Director of Development.

Individual Giving

• Work with the development and marketing team to create an annual giving communications calendar to coordinate cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.
• Oversee strategy and implementation for the Care Club monthly giving program including recruitment, cultivation, and stewardship.
• Work with the Senior Director of Development to build a legacy giving program and oversee all aspects of stewardship.
• Manage all aspects of the donor acknowledgement process including a weekly acknowledgement report to be sent to the President & COO, making weekly thank you calls and tracking supporter communication.

The Important Skills You’ll Need To Have

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• A strong commitment to the mission of There With Care.
• Minimum 3 years of professional fundraising experience, marked by strong organizational skills and an attention to detail.
• A resourceful style with the ability to work independently, take initiative and manage multiple tasks and projects as well as to be a team player who is eager to collaborate with others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• An ability to network and build alliances.
• Must have computer proficiency and knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• CRM experience a plus.
