VOLUNTEER TO HELP FAMILIES IN CRISIS
Our work isn’t done until we connect all the people who want to help with every family that needs it. Volunteers are the heart and soul of There With Care, and we welcome you to get involved by delivering care and essential supplies to families with critically-ill children. There With Care is grateful to the volunteers who generously give their time and energy to serve these families.
1. Decide Which Volunteer Activity is Right for You
Volunteer as an Individual: If you are interested in volunteering directly with families to deliver Care Bags and essential items, working in our warehouse, helping with administrative projects, or volunteering at an event, please complete the next few steps.
Volunteer as a Group: If you have a group interested in scheduling a service project or team-building event, please reach out to Ashton for Denver activities and Kristy for Boulder activities. You do not need to complete an application, background check, or training if you are volunteering as a group.
2. Complete a Volunteer Application
All individual volunteers aged 16 and older must fill out a volunteer application. Individuals under age 16 who would like to volunteer should have an adult parent or guardian complete the application as the primary volunteer who will accompany the minor.
3. Complete a Background Check
If you did not complete the Background Check Form as part of your Volunteer Application, and you would like to volunteer directly with families, please click the button below to complete the Background Check Form. If you’d like to reimburse There With Care for the cost of the background check, please click the “Background Check Fee Reimbursement” button below.
Background checks are not needed for minors, group volunteers, or those not interested in direct contact with families.
4. Sign Up for a Volunteer Training
If you did not already sign up for Volunteer Training as part of your Volunteer Application, please click the button below to sign up.
