Jay Barnett, Co-Founder |Born March 13, 1988
Jay was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma on January 12 th, 2002 at the age of 13 and from that point on, he was never in remission and endured constant treatment for 3+ years. Jay always had a positive outlook and was someone with respect. He tried to live with cancer, not letting it get him down. Jay was strong and brave.
Jay’s battle ended on June 15 th, 2005
We are grateful for the inspiration that Jay and his mother have given all of us at There With Care, which has provided families with the opportunities to receive prepared meals, grocery and home maintenance programs.
In memory of Jay Barnett (March 13, 1988 – June 15, 2005)
The Barnett’s showed us how emotionally and financially challenging it is for families forced to live away from home while in treatment. The simplest things, like groceries in the cabinet and a warm meal delivered with care and love, become so comforting and precious to a family facing the daily struggle of critical illness.
There With Care’s Grocery and Meal Delivery Programs relieve the worry of putting food on the table so families can enjoy a caring family meal and time together.
